Arshdeep Singh Reveals Hilarious Wrestling Sessions with Bowling Coach Morne Morkel
A recent video showing Indian pacers Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep playfully wrestling with bowling coach Morne Morkel during a net session in Birmingham has gone viral. The footage offered a lighthearted glimpse into the team's dynamics amidst the high-pressure environment of the India vs England Test series.
Neither Arshdeep nor Akash Deep featured in the playing XI that suffered a five-wicket defeat at Headingley.
In a video released by the BCCI, Arshdeep Singh shed light on the story behind the viral visuals. He explained Morne Morkel's unique approach to ending practice sessions.
"Morne had said that the moment our practice session ends, he will have a last move and he will pin me. Thereafter, there will be no practice," Arshdeep revealed. He further added, "He has found a new way to call off the day and he was just showing us that."
The Indian team currently trails the five-match series 0-1 after the loss at Headingley, where England successfully chased down a target of 371 runs.
